Foodstuff is such a basic part of the existence. The lives revolve around it from our waking minute onwards. Satvic or pure foods: These kinds of are foods that treat, comfort, juicy, smooth and increase longevity, intelligence and strength and are broken down well by our system. 

Rajasik or the attractive foods: These are generally salty, hot and spicy, bitter, salty and can give rise to sick health, grief or pain.

Tamasik or the contaminated foods: These include boring, cold, left over foods, impure and half cooked properly triggering great harm to the mind and the entire body.

Food is one aspect of your life that we take for granted. We could less mindful of the meals that we consume.
